Study Tour Visit by Students of GDS To Bandarban Region Headquarter

A group of students from Dept.of Governance & Development Studies, (GDS) , Bandarban University has visited to the Bandarban Region Headquarters on 17 May 2026 as part of an educational study tour and on-ground learning experience. Region Commander Brigadier General SM Rakib Ibne Rezwan, Brigade major Shohel Ahmed, GSO captain Samiul Islam, Coordinator of Governance & Development Studies Muhammad Wahidur Rahman, Lecturer Md. Sahadat Hossain and Nakibul Islam Chowdhury were present in the seminer.

An interactive and fruitful session was taken by Brigade Major Shohel Ahmed.

This visit aims to provide students with practical insights into the activities, responsibilities, and operational functions of the region. It will also create an excellent opportunity for the students to interact closely with the respected officers and members of the headquarters.

Such an initiative will greatly enrich the students’ academic understanding, enhance their real-life learning experience, and inspire them through disciplined institutional exposure.
